Session eleven into session twelve notes:
When last we met, the party had grown in size and power… both with older alliances holding strong, and newer alliances being formed on the go.
Though this was not enough for them to conquer the formidable foe known as Blood Raven, who once held some party members captive, and in one case, is responsible for one of their deaths.
Blood Raven is not a force you can take lightly, as the over eager party members who went into the dank and bleak graveyard territory to vanquish her, found out for themselves, and were soon overcome by her and her undead minions.
There was little to no choice here, the party had to flee, and in doing so saved 2 out of 3 of the captives, but they could not save them all.
With fear in their minds. and anguish in their hearts, they fled as quickly as they could back to the Rogue’s Encampment…. where Francis was wide awake, and awaiting their arrival.
Upon reaching the safety of the camp, each of our brave adventurers decided to take rest, and performed small tasks around the camp, or when the shops finally opened up again, grabbed a few of their wares to fill the gaps in their decreased arsenal.
Francis and Ira catch up quickly, and she informs him of everything that has transpired whilst he has been meditating in town… it’s a tale of hardship, and loss.
Overhearing them talk, Warriv, grabs a few mugs, and pours out a drink for everyone there, and they together sit in a fragile peace, to toast the memory of the brave Amazon, who was only known by her friends, and the Rogues within camp, as Livia.
It was never a nice thing to witness for Warriv, the passing of a young life, after trying to save those who cannot fight for themselves. He had seen it many times by now, all this death and tragedy had finally got him to a point where he was sick to the stomach, or maybe that was the alcohol…. who knows?
Francis scouts around the encampment walls, while the others sleep and rest, and manages to find some reagents used to make a couple of potions, finally he gets to put his Herb Lore skills to good use.
A brief conversation was had by Kashya and Scarlett, who received a cold reception from the Leader of the Rogues when she mentioned Blood Raven being Kashya’s friend… Some things are best forgotten, and are too painful, to even the toughest of warriors.
Not sure what else they can do, the party finally headed back out of the encampment, and further into unexplored areas of the Blood Moor, where they have set about cleansing the area of the lingering Demonic corruption which dwells there still.
