Last Session 36>> into this session 37 ((recap))
We started last session with our adventurers inside of the tower still, as they continue to hunt for Blaise, and the Countess.
Suddenly, Aleric begins to act strangely and falls onto one of the nearby beds, holding his chest and and head, refusing to go any further… Unsure what’s wrong with him, he takes a moment, but begins coughing phlegm and blood.
Crodas had moved away, muttering something about going back home, as an emergency had come up he had gotten wind of somehow, and he needed to be with his family quickly, and so bid farewell quietly and slipped away.
Francis is also acting strangely, and stricken with grief.
The lingering memories of his past, catching up to him in the present, giving him a strong reminder of the dream about his vengeful sister he had a few nights ago, and these ghosts in the tower are very similar to the way she has become, and have unnerved him greatly, and as a result he hides himself with his minions, off to one corner, and refuses to move.
Scarlett, tackles her fear of high heat, and basks in the warmth of the healing globe that Ophi had prepared for everyone, and in doing so, she reloads lillith and lillian, her two trusty crossbows.
The tower it seems has become yet another obstacle to beat for itself, let alone the monsters that dwell within it.
Ophi, and Baxter head back to the Rogue encampment via a town portal scroll, leaving the others there for just a moment, Aurora also follows them.
Whilst there, a meeting with Akara is had, and Ophi learns of some useful information about the tower they are currently diving into, whilst also trading and grabbing some much needed items for their journey ahead.
Once ready, the two and Aurora, both take the waypoint back to the Black Marsh, and head directly along the eastern road, where after crossing a narrow and long bridge, they come across a raiding party of carver, led by four shaman.
Baxter dives into the fray, and Ophi and Aurora deal damage from afar… Sadly, Nix perishes in the battle, and will need to be recalled later on, but the battle is won by the small scouting party.
With the monsters now slain, the attack on the encampment was to be halted, and this was great news… And so, to finish up, the bodies are looted, the area checked thoroughly, before heading back through the way point and into the rogue camp yet again.
Once back in the safety of the camp, Baxter and Ophi take some time to stash any loot they had found, and decide it was long enough that they were away from the rest, and so took the portal back into the tower, which is we pick up todays session.
