Session eight into session nine notes:
The party moved from the most recent battleground, to the strange looking stone symbol off to the side of the road, and managed to figure out its purpose…. through some trial and error…. but nevertheless, they managed to find a means of quick way to traveling between the Rogue Camp and the Cold Plains.
This, would come in handy, very soon…. Though Cade it would seem had other plans, and returned to the Rogue Encampment… alone.
After this amazing discovery, the party move further along the eastern road, where they are set upon by three large brutish Gargantuan Beasts.
Although powerful in stature and strength, they caused very little trouble to most of the party, and are dealt with efficiently by the smart use of a single sleep spell… cast by the Francis.
Once the monstrous beasts were dealt with, Livia took it upon herself to remove the hides, and in some ways, the flesh from the slain beasts too.
In the meantime, Ira found herself some nice new shiny gems from a nearby mining area.
The party have been travelling back and forth, fighting monster after monster, and battling the harsh weather conditions for several hours now… some if not all, are beginning to feel a little tired out, and so one by one they all head back to the Rogue Encampment, via the newly activated Way point.
Once they are back at camp, they each split off to do their own thing, some trade with the traders, others seek information, or try to center themselves through meditation alone… but regardless of what activities are undertaken whilst in town, eventually, they agree to meet up in the morning, after each one gets some much needed rest.
