Session nineteen into session twenty recap:
When last we met, our courageous and helpful party were just awakening from a much needed rest, however not everyone was ready to begin adventuring so soon, and Aiyana and Zaor, both could not move from their slumber.
Feeling that it was best to allow them to recover, the rest of the group head out, towards the Stony Field… This was uncharted land for them, and who knows what was lurking there for them to find and discover.
Led by Blaise, the party are able to make it safely and directly, to the Stony Field.
Upon entering this new , bleak and rock filled area, the party are thrust into battle with a group of lingering Undead, waiting and hungering, for their next meal to walk by.
With the party now stronger than before, the Undead were quickly dispatched, with very little effort or struggle this time round.
Now, free to move further and explore, the party reach a crossroads and decide to follow a blood trail to the eastern path, which led them to a couple of new foes hovering over a slain adventurer, these foes looked very similar to the Fallen they had encountered previously, only these were blue, and they seemed a little tougher, but again they posed no real threat to anyone.
Once the next battle was over, the party continued along the eastern path, until they encountered yet another group of foes never seen before, Goat demons, standing on hind legs, wielding large Battle Axes…. however, for their size, speed, and power, the party are evenly matched with them and see to their demise quickly… leaving their bodies to be looted, along with a guarded chest left nearby.
Xerxes, decided he would break the chest open, and in doing so, sprung the trap… in but a moment, a bright light illuminated from the chest and burned his eyes, causing him to become blinded.
Situated to one side of the road, was the party’s second arcane way point, which they managed to activate and use, to head back to the Rogue Encampment.
