Session sixteen into session seventeen recap:

When last me met, the party had just finished resting near the edge of the Cold Plains, over by the heavily dilapidated graveyard entry gate.
They are about to set off, when Ophi, an inquisitive Sorceress, comes along the great east/west path which runs through the heart of the plains.

Introductions were made, after a slight misunderstanding between Scarlett and Ophi’s familiar, Nix…  Soon after the tension dies down, Ophi is welcomed into the party, to help them fight the Fallen which are lurking within the boundaries of this cold and miserable wasteland.

Now, with an extra pair of hands, and some magic to boot, the party as one head along the main road, guided by their Rogue Scout, who points out enemies along the way, and helps them dispatch any foes that challenged the group.

Heading further along the path, it turns 90 degrees towards a southerly direction, which leads to a small encounter with a hiding group of Dark Hunters, who are quickly dealt with.

As the rest of the party seem to veer off to the east a little, after noticing some billowing grey smoke in that direction, Ophi decides it’s best to search the burned out cart and the slain tradesman body found near to it.
A few loose gold pieces were able to be found on the corpse, but a staff of magical power was laying just under a few piles of debris inside the cart, fully caked in ash that had fallen onto it, which had partially concealed it from plain sight… A nice find indeed.

Whilst this happend, the rest of the party get ready to ambush the Fallen camp detected to the south-east, and hope that they don’t bite off more than they can chew, as they launch their attack on Bishibosh and his retinue of shaman and fallen warriors… Bishibosh is in fact the leader of the Fallen.

We pick up here then – a couple of rounds into combat between the party and Bishibosh, and of course, his minions, who time and time again, as is proven, will recklessly give their own lives for their leader.
