“Lyra’s ‘celestial magic’ actually stems from an ancient Silver Dragon lineage in her bloodline. What she interpreted as communion with astral forces was actually her draconic heritage awakening. The starbursts and celestial energies she channels are manifestations of her silver dragon ancestor’s connection to the heavens and divine magic.”
“Lyra was born on the Winter Solstice, during the longest night when the stars burned brightest in the sky. Her mother always said the silver light of the constellation Draco seemed to pulse with each of her first breaths – a sign that marked her destiny as one touched by both starlight and dragon’s blood.”
Lyra grew up in a small village on the outskirts of the eastern kingdoms, where her natural affinity for magic first manifested during a solar eclipse when she was just 12. While other children played with wooden swords, she found herself unconsciously weaving light between her fingers, creating small starbursts that danced in her palms.
Her raw talent caught the attention of Vorthak the Whispered, a seemingly benevolent wizard who offered to train her. For three years, Lyra flourished under his guidance, learning to channel celestial energies and commune with astral forces. But as her power grew, so did Vorthak’s true intentions – he began introducing forbidden texts, whispering of “greater power through sacrifice” and “the beauty of controlled corruption.”
The night Lyra discovered Vorthak’s ritual chamber – filled with soul gems and dark sigils – she realized her mentor planned to use her as a conduit for demonic energies. Her pure connection to celestial magic made her the perfect vessel for his twisted experiments. That same night, she fled with nothing but her staff and the clothes on her back.
Now haunted by nightmares of what she almost became, Lyra seeks redemption and purpose. She’s drawn to Tristram by visions of a great darkness that only pure magic can cleanse – perhaps her chance to prove that celestial power can triumph over corruption.
